How usage is counted

One billable unit is one successful API call. Requests that fail with 4xx or 5xx are not billed, and sandbox keys (psn_test_) are never billed.

API quota is expected to follow your existing membership tier rather than being sold separately.

Every response will carry the current limit state in its headers:

Exceeding the limit returns 429, with a Retry-After header telling you how long to wait.

Back off when you receive a 429 rather than retrying immediately. Hammering a rate-limited endpoint can get a key suspended.

Behaviour once a quota is exhausted — hard stop versus pay-as-you-go overage — has not been decided yet.

API billing will sit alongside your existing subscription rather than being a separate invoice.
